Cairo Liberation Front
Cairo Liberation Front is a DJ collective from Tilburg, the Netherlands, made up of Joep Schmitz and Yannick Verhoeven. The group is active from 2012 and works with electro cha3bi, also known as electro chaabi or mahraganat, a style of dance music from Egypt.
The collective is known for issuing mixtapes of electro chaabi and for being among the first western DJs to release work in this style. Its name is associated with electro, mahraganat, revolution and Arab music scenes.
