C-SIDE

C-SIDE is a name used by multiple acts, including a hip hop group from Atlanta, Georgia, a fictional hard rock trio from Nintendo’s Splatoon series, and an electronic project from New Jersey.

Atlanta hip hop group

The Atlanta group C-Side forms in 2001 and is active from then on. It consists of rappers Kenny Kold, King Darius, also known as Gator, Hit James and Bo-Q. The group works in hip hop and rap.

Splatoon fictional trio

C-Side also appears as a fictional hard rock trio in Nintendo’s Splatoon video game series. Nintendo describes the group as grungy and rebellious, with no musical training, rising from humble beginnings through talent and ambition. Their single “Paintscraper” is described as combining a shiny rainbow melody with a thrash-metal skeleton.

New Jersey electronic project

C-SIDE is also the name of an electronic project started by New Jersey indie producer Connie A in 2022. The project combines house, breakbeat and industrial elements, and Connie A cites Aphex Twin as a main influence.
