Burning Codes

Burning Codes is the recording name used by Paul Archer, a singer and songwriter from the United Kingdom, born in Belfast. He later records under his own name, Paul Archer.

Collaborations and associated musicians

His music includes work with a number of collaborators, among them Iain Archer, Jonny Quinn and Nathan Connolly of Snow Patrol, and Carey Willets and Steve Roberts of Athlete. Iain Archer is also associated with Tired Pony, Reindeer Section and an Ivor Novello award.

Releases

Burning Codes releases The Worthy Cause EP on Belfast label Only Gone Records in 2008. His self-titled debut album is issued on Indiecater Records, a label based in Dublin.

Radio and live appearances

His recordings receive airplay on Radio One through Zane Lowe’s Evening Session and on BBC NI’s Across The Line, along with broadcasts on local stations across the UK and on independent radio stations in the United States. On stage, he supports and performs with artists including Gary Lightbody, Lisa Hannigan, Elbow and Duke Special.
