Burn in Noise is the psytrance project of Gustavo Manfroni Amaral de Souza, an artist from Brazil. He begins in music through guitar, which he plays from an early age, and he performs in two rock bands before moving into electronic music.

During a trip to London, he encounters psychedelic trance, which quickly shapes his direction. By the end of 1999, he starts buying software for music production and develops a style associated with pumping full-on psytrance, groovy rhythms and psychedelic melodies. His music is described as carrying the spirit and energy of Brazil.

He releases his debut album, broken MP3, in 2005. From 2002 onward, he also places tracks on compilations around the world. In addition, he issues a self-titled album for his side project, The First Stone.
