BunZer0
BunZer0 is a Belgian producer and DJ associated with dubstep and grime. Born in 1973, he develops his career in Belgium and also performs internationally. His interest in dubstep begins after hearing early releases by Horsepower Productions.
DJ work and club nights
He DJs in Belgium and abroad and becomes known outside the UK dubstep scene through appearances at events such as FWD>> in London and a three-hour set in the United States. He supports many leading artists in the genre. He also promotes club nights at the Beursschouwburg from 2006, bringing in UK figures including Skream, Youngsta, Loefah and Mark One. Other guest DJs on his events include N-Type, Walsh and DJ Pinch.
Radio and writing
BunZer0 hosts a weekly show on Sub.fm, the first dubstep radio station. The programme includes selections from established names and newer artists, and features harmonica player Mr Jo. He also writes for the music magazine Rif Raf, a role he carries out for more than 10 years.
Releases and compilation work
He compiles the SubStance CD for Aecletrik Records, a release that presents the increasingly international dubstep sound. He also releases the tracks Psychedelic Flu and Loneliness on BASS TOURIST.
