Bulldoze

Bulldoze is a hardcore punk group from Irvington, New Jersey, active since 1992. The band is associated with the New York hardcore scene and is identified as an early pioneer of beatdown hardcore. Its sound is rooted in hardcore punk, beatdown hardcore and punk, and it is commonly linked with the NYHC tradition.

Line-up

The group includes George Puda, Zack Thorne, Chris Golas, Mike Milewski and Kevin Cea. At one stage, the active line-up is listed as Chris on drums, Zack on guitar, Puda on bass and vocals, and Mike on guitar. Kevone served as vocalist from 1992 until 2022.

Other projects

Members of Bulldoze also work in other bands. Zack, Chris and Puda play in Agents of Man, a project that includes former members of One4One, Cold as Life, Sworn Enemy and Train of Thought. Mike also plays in Homicidal, alongside members connected with One4One, 25 Ta Life, NJ Bloodline and Train of Thought.

Notes

The band is described as an original “NYHC beatdown” act and as a group from the New York/New Jersey area. A statement from the band notes that Kevone died during the summer of 2022.
