One Amsterdam punk band called The Bugs is active from 1979 to 1983. Its original line-up includes Simone on bass, Ronald on vocals, and Alex and Peter on guitars. Carlo Edel later joins on guitar, while the drummer position changes repeatedly.

An Australian noise/pop duo forms in Brisbane in mid-2014. It begins as a solo side project by Connor Brooker, who comes from the Sunshine Coast band Pro Vita and uses the name after releasing self-produced bedroom EPs in 2014. That same year drummer Joab leaves, Augusto of Automatics replaces him on drums, and Dimetrius, formerly of Dead Funny Days, joins on guitar.
