Budzillus
Budzillus is a German street band from Berlin. Formed in 2006 under the name Budzillus & Die Antikörper, it begins touring as Budzillus in 2008. Its music is difficult to place neatly, but is described in the group’s own terms as a mix of trash gypsy swing core and street polk’n’roll, with tags including folk punk, gypsy punk, swing punk, cabaret punk and swing.
Activity and releases
After the name change in 2008, the group continues to tour and records its first material under the Budzillus name. During this period, two EPs and the first BudZillus album are created.
Members
In 2008, the main line-up includes Robert Kondorosi on tenor guitar and vocals, Stefan Wolff on organ, flute and harmonica, Eckard Friedrich on cajon and percussion, Kornelius van der Zepp on upright bass, and Luigi Antonio D’Urso on drums and beer bottle.

The wider circle of honorary members listed with the group includes Anton Kryukov on accordion, Prinzessin Kackewurst on banjo and trombone, Mimmo Renzi on trumpet, Matze Sturm on banjo, Jakub Sobaszeck on keys, Stefan Baier on percussion, whistle and general confusion, Tobi Schneider on drums, Doktor Toilet on accordion and jitterbug, Alex Möckel on drums and percussion, and Pablo Quijote on trumpet.
