Bromheads

Bromheads are an indie rock and garage rock band from Sheffield. They change name from Bromheads Jacket to Bromheads and release their first full-length album under the new name, CHORO.

Recording and releases

CHORO comes out through Townsend/Universal and is available on digital download and CD. The album is made with a focus on live-sounding takes and the rough energy of first rehearsals. Lead singer Tim Hampton says the band wants to preserve the excitement of playing a newly written song in the practice room, even if it contains mistakes. The single Gonna Let You Melt is written and demoed the night before the band enters the studio, and it is available as a free download.

Earlier activity

The band’s previous release is The Lamp Sessions, a collection compiled from individual tracks the group gives away to fans for free over the course of a year. Bromheads also maintain a website, Facebook page and Twitter account.
