Brodinski

Brodinski is the alias of French composer, producer and DJ Louis Rogé, from Saint-Brice-Courcelles in France. Born in 1987, he starts making music at 15 and becomes associated with the French bloghouse scene, the fluokids movement and electro club culture.

Style and early activity

He works between hard-edged minimalism, electro and party-oriented club music, with sets described as precise and tracks as more abrasive. He also shares mix tapes through his blog and becomes known through online music culture in the mid-2000s.

Collaborations and projects

Brodinski develops his production work with Yuksek, a friendship that leads to several collaborative projects. These include Noob & Brodinski, Mumdance & Brodinski, and The Krays, the latter pairing Yuksek and Brodinski. He also appears as part of Gucci Vump.

Notable track and DJ work

His track “Bad Runner” is singled out as a key example of his bloghouse and maximalist techno style. He also holds a residency for Panik parties in Paris.
