BØRNS is the stage name of Garrett Clark Borns, an American singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Grand Haven, Michigan. Born in 1992, he begins performing in his youth and builds a career around a blend of pop-oriented songwriting with folk, ambient and synthpop elements.

Career

He releases his debut album, A Dream Between, in 2012 on REZidual Records. His first major-label release is the Candy EP in 2014, issued by Geffen and Interscope. The EP reaches number two on the Billboard Heatseekers chart.

BØRNS follows this with the Dopamine tour and then his debut studio album, Dopamine, in 2015. The album peaks at number 24 in the United States and includes singles led by the platinum-certified track “Electric Love”.

Collaborations and touring

He tours with Charli XCX, Bleachers and Halsey as a supporting act, and appears at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in 2016. His second album, Blue Madonna, is released in 2018 and includes the single “God Save Our Young Blood” with Lana Del Rey, which charts on the US rock chart. He also headlines the MoneyMan Tour and supports Del Rey on her LA to the Moon Tour.

In 2023, he releases his third EP, Suddenly.
