Bright City

Bright City is a Brighton-based group active since 2015. It is a creative collective centred at St Peter’s Brighton, bringing together songwriters, musicians and producers with a shared aim of making music that is authentic, creative and passionate.

Overview

The group’s self-titled debut album presents 13 tracks built around themes of faith and hope. The record is described through a contrast of styles, ranging from the anthemic title track “Bright City” and the first single “Colour” to more restrained songs such as “I Will Rest” and “Broken”.

Style and purpose

Bright City’s music is presented as a call to spiritual reflection, with the album intended to point listeners towards its understanding of a Creator. The project combines indie, rock, pop and alternative influences with a Christian focus.
