Brian M Vs McBunn is a UK hardstyle duo. They perform and produce hardstyle with an uplifting sound, and they are associated with the growth of the style in the UK scene.

Production and releases

The duo becomes the first UK artists to produce for Blutonium Records. Working with the label as Brian M vs McBunn, they produce six tracks that are described as worldwide hits, including “We Are The Bass”, “Go Deeper” and “Automatic”. These tracks feature on compilations internationally and receive support from hardstyle DJs and at major events and festivals.

They also release material under the name Chemical Cowboys. In addition, Brian M and McBunn work with other UK scene figures including Gaz West, also known as Dark by Design, and Jon the Baptist.

DJ style and performances

In performance, the duo uses a distinctive mixing style that includes unorthodox cutting and scratching, along with crowd-focused presentation. They also play special edits made for their own sets. Their live dates include regular appearances in Ireland, Italy, France and Germany.

They also play at Defqon.1 in 2007 in the Blue Arena in Holland, in front of an audience reported at between 35,000 and 40,000 people.
