Braxton
Braxton is listed as a group from the Gold Coast and is also associated with an Australian heavy rock sound. The name appears in several different contexts, including as an electronic project and as a rock band.
Electronic music project
In one use, Braxton is the project of Danny Duff, an electronic music producer and DJ from the North-West of England who is based in Brighton. Under this name, he remixes artists including Ashanti, Tourist, Ciara and Rüfüs. His debut EP, 21 Days, appears at the end of 2015 on MTA Records and includes the tracks “21 Days” and “Aspidistra”. In March 2016, he releases “Kowloon”, followed by “Something about you” featuring Ava James, “Stronger” featuring Danni Wells, and “Forever”, all included on the Stronger EP, also on MTA Records.
Other uses of the name
Another Braxton is Brack Cantrell’s solo project from the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Brack is previously the other half of Sky Eats Airplane before leaving to pursue a more mellow, acoustic and indie direction. In addition, a Braxton is identified as an Australian rock band from Brisbane.
