Brass Band

Brass Band is a group from New Jersey, United States, active since 1972. It is associated with heartland rock, pop rock and rock, and the membership includes Vini Lopez, David Sancious, Danny Federici, Clarence Clemons, Garry Tallent, Ernest Carter, Roy Bittan, Max Weinberg, צרויה להב, Little Steven, Nils Lofgren, Patti Scialfa, Soozie Tyrell, Charles Giordano, Jake Clemons, Anthony Almonte, Barry Danielian, Ada Dyer, Curtis King, Lisa Lowell, Ed Manion, Ozzie Melendez, Michelle Moore, Curt Ramm and The Asbury Park All-Star Revue.

The name also appears in connection with the 5th Regt Brass Band, which is noted for making the oldest known band recording in March 1889. That recording is made from an Edison cylinder, an early sound format that predates better-known disc records.
