Brandy Clark

Brandy Clark is an American country singer-songwriter from Morton, United States. Born in 1975, she grows up in Morton, Washington, and works a range of jobs there, including wildfire fighter, blueberry picker, Christmas tree topper and chainsaw maker. She picks up the guitar at nine and makes her singing debut in school musicals.

She later moves to Nashville to study commercial music at Belmont University, where she is selected for the school’s Best of the Best Showcase. After graduating, she signs her first publishing deal and goes on to have songs recorded by Reba McEntire, Miranda Lambert, LeAnn Rimes, David Nail, Billy Currington, Kenny Rogers, Rebecca Lynn Howard, Joanna Smith and Amanda Wilkinson.

Clark receives a nomination for Best New Artist at the 2015 Grammy Awards. Her first full-length album is released in 2013 and is produced by Dave Brainard, who also works with Jerrod Niemann and Jamey Johnson. Her second album, Big Day in a Small Town, is released in 2016.
