Bottlecap

Bottlecap is a Gothenburg-based Swedish punk group active since 2008. The act is described as high energy, in-your-face rock with punk influences.

The name is also used as a recording alias by an artist whose work is described as inspired by the ridges on the backs of shells and by misty West Coast afternoons. That music is described as solar and electric.

Bottlecap is also a member of the experimental trio Anchovy Regime alongside Grasseater, and that work appears on the band’s more textured and springy tracks. Bottlecap’s work also features in the indie videogame Lonely as a Cloud.

The artist is reported to be working on a first solo album titled Mockodile.
