BorderLine Crossing is a Warwickshire-based group fronted by singer Chele Willow, who is formerly from Las Vegas. The line-up returns to an essentially acoustic approach that has proved popular at folk clubs and festivals.

Music and repertoire

The group plays a mix of folk, rock, blues and Americana, with influences from soul, west-coast rock and traditional American music. Its set includes original songs alongside material associated with Billie Holiday, Townes Van Zandt, Patti Scialfa, Jackson Browne and Amos Lee.

Line-up

Chele Willow’s vocals are accompanied by guitar arrangements from her husband, musician and songwriter Pete Willow. The group also includes Dave Cook on lead and side guitar, and Pete Townsend on acoustic and electric bass.
