Bookhouse

Bookhouse is a psychedelic rock group from North Wales, active since 2019. It also appears as the name of a Minneapolis-based jazz trio, so the name is used by more than one act.

North Wales psychedelic rock group

The North Wales Bookhouse forms in 2019 and releases its debut EP, λ, in 2020.

Minneapolis jazz trio

A separate Bookhouse operates as a Minneapolis jazz trio made up of Paul Fonfara on clarinets, electronics and metal detector, Chris Hepola on drums and Rhodes piano, and Josh Granowski on bass. It starts as a side project connected to Painted Saints. The trio begins by arranging Angelo Badalamenti’s music for Twin Peaks after becoming interested in the television series, and that material is later developed into a long-gestating LP.
