BoneMud

BoneMud are a four-piece metal band based in Bristol and the south-west of England. The group is founded by guitarist Remi Makulec and vocalist Scott Allen. Its line-up later includes Thom Wood on bass and Nick Schaffer on drums, with the band going through several changes before settling on that formation.

Style and influences

BoneMud is most often linked with rapcore and nu metal, but its sound draws on a wide range of influences. These include metal, hardcore, rock, punk, rap and reggae. The band’s music focuses on energetic live performance and a direct, high-intensity approach.

Recordings

In 2010, BoneMud records its debut album Tokoloshe. It also completes a later EP, Challenge Accepted, which marks the debut recording for the then-current line-up.
