Bolshy

Bolshy are a ska-punk group from Liverpool. They begin in summer 2012, first busking regularly on the city’s streets before moving on to basement gigs. Their early activity centres on the UK underground scene, where they share bills with The Restarts, Prince Fatty, Dirty Revolution, Radical Dance Faction and Culture Shock.

The band also appears at festivals alongside Neville Staple, Dreadzone and The Beat, and performs at a large NHS rally in Whitworth Park, Manchester. Bolshy run a crowdfunding campaign to finance their debut EP, reaching their target of £1,500 in 17 days.

Their EP Radical. Anarchic. Bolshy. Scouse. comes out in 2014 and gains coverage from Four Culture in the USA, Bido Lito and Do the Dog Skazine. Later in 2014, they complete their first UK tour and continue to build a reputation for a high-energy live show.
