Boilermaker

Boilermaker is an indie rock and emo band from Encinitas, California, active from 1993 to 2002. The core lineup consists of Terrin Durfey on bass and vocals, Rich Sanderson on guitar, and Timothy James Semple on drums. Mike Eginton plays second guitar on some later tours and records two songs with the group.

Releases

The band releases a number of 7-inch singles and compilation tracks, along with three LPs: Watercourse, In Wallace's Shadow, and an untitled LP. These come out on Goldenrod Records. A later compilation, Leucadia, gathers songs from the out-of-print records and appears on Better Looking Records.

Later activities

After Boilermaker, members go on to play with Earthless, the Jade Shader, and Pinback. Terrin Durfey, the band’s singer and bassist, dies in 2008 after a long battle with skin cancer.
