Bodyrox

Career and releases

Bodyrox gain wide recognition with “Yeah Yeah”, a track featuring Luciana. It becomes a major club and chart hit, reaching No. 2 in the UK Top 40 and charting in more than 30 countries. The track helps to associate the duo with the wider nu rave movement. Their follow-up singles also perform well in club charts, with the next four consecutive releases topping Music Week’s Cool Cuts and the DMC Buzz Chart.

In 2010, the duo achieve a second UK Top 10 entry with a track featuring N-Dubz, which enters the UK chart at No. 6. They also release “Bow Wow Wow”, which tops Music Week’s club and pop chart.

Awards and recognition

Bodyrox receive nominations for an MTV Video Music Award, two International Dance Music Awards and an Ivor Novello Award. Their debut on Radio One’s Essential Mix leads Pete Tong to describe them as a supergroup. Their video for “Yeah Yeah” also wins an award. The duo are among the most viewed electro acts online, with over 60 million views on YouTube and millions more across their social media channels.
