Boddika is the solo project of Al Green, also known as Al Bleek, from the United Kingdom. He is also part of Instra:mental with Damon Kirkham, known as Kid Drama, and the pair build a reputation as innovative producers in underground dance music.

Sound and style

Boddika’s music draws on older hardware and production methods, using classic Roland drum machine rhythms, vintage synthesizers and modern studio techniques. His work sits across the borders of electro, house and techno, with tracks made for the dance floor. It is also associated with dubstep, acid house, electronica and juke.

Releases and labels

He releases material on labels including Nonplus Records, Swamp 81 and NakedLunch. The available discography note describes eight EPs to date.

DJ support and reception
