B.o.B is the stage name of Bobby Ray Simmons, Jr., a US rapper, singer and producer associated with alternative hip hop, alternative rock, conscious hip hop, contemporary R&B, dirty south and future bass. He is from Winston-Salem, United States, and was born in 1988. He is part of Hustle Gang, All City Chess Club, Hang Dynasty and Ham Squad.

Career

B.o.B signs to T.I.'s Grand Hustle label and Atlantic Records and also releases music through B.o.B Music. He is a Grammy Award-nominated artist. He also has a reputation as a conspiracy theorist.

Releases

In 2007, he releases his debut EP, Eastside, followed by the EP 12th Dimension and five mixtapes. His debut album, B.o.B Presents The Adventures of Bobby Ray, reaches number one on the Billboard 200. Its lead single, “Nothin' on You” with Bruno Mars, reaches number one on the Billboard Hot 100. The album also produces “Airplanes” and “Magic”, and is certified gold by the RIAA. His second album begins with “Strange Clouds”, featuring Lil Wayne.
