Bloody Woods

Bloody Woods is a Chinese neo-folk group that begins in early 2005 as a project by Bai Shui (白水, Eltan Renaxy). The group is active from 2005 to the present and is associated with neofolk and folk metal, with the Chinese language central to its identity.

History

Bloody Woods starts as a solo project, with Bai Shui as its founding figure. In late December 2005, Gu Dao joins as a guest vocalist. The project issues the self-released EP Women In The Hole in August 2006. About a month later, Gu Dao and Bai Shui part ways again, and Bloody Woods returns to being a solo project.
