bloody kisses is a new wave pop rock duo from Los Angeles, United States, active from 2010 to the present. The group is made up of Zinzi Edmundson and Jesse Kivel.

The name is taken from the title of the second album by Brooklyn gothic rock band Type O Negative. The project begins in Dublin in 2010, when guitarist Christian Stynes and vocalist and bassist Muiris Ó Fiannachta perform an impromptu version of Type O Negative’s “Black No. 1” using acoustic guitar, low baritone vocals and snapping fingers. Keyboard player Linda Quinlan and drummer Bob Ryan then join, and the act develops from a one-off set of cover versions into a full tribute project dedicated to Type O Negative and Pete Steele.
