Bloodsimple
Bloodsimple is a metal group formed in 2002 by Tim Williams and guitarist Mike Kennedy, both former members of the New York hardcore band Vision of Disorder. The band also includes guitarist Nick Rowe and bassist Kyle Sanders. Verified membership information also names Paul Miro and Mick Doyle.
The group develops a groove-driven metal sound that sits across metalcore, alternative metal, nu metal, metal and hardcore. It first draws wider attention in 2004, when Mudvayne vocalist Chad Gray discovers the band and it begins touring quickly with acts including Otep, American Head Charge and Candiria. Bloodsimple also tours with Stone Sour, Alice in Chains and Slayer, and presents itself as a band that can play alongside a wide range of rock and metal acts rather than staying within one scene.
Bloodsimple breaks up in 2009.
