Bloodhound Gang is an American group from King of Prussia, United States, active since 1988. It is best known for a style that combines alternative rock, alternative metal, comedy rock, punk and rap metal, with lyrics and videos built around humour, satire, provocation and explicit language.

Formation and lineup

The band is formed by James “Jimmy Pop” Franks and Michael “Daddy Long Legs” Bowe. Its later lineup includes Jimmy Pop on vocals and guitar, “Evil” Jared Hasselhoff on bass, Daniel P. Carter, known as DJ Q-Ball, on keyboards, and Adam Perry, known as The Yin, on drums. Other members associated with the group include M.S.G., Lüpüs Thünder, Spanky G, Willie the New Guy and Denial P. Cartier.

Music and releases

Bloodhound Gang’s catalogue includes the studio albums Use Your Fingers, One Fierce Beer Coaster, Hooray for Boobies, Hefty Fine and Hard-Off. Among its best-known singles are “The Bad Touch”, “Fire Water Burn”, “The Ballad of Chasey Lain”, “Foxtrot Uniform Charlie Kilo” and “Uhn Tiss Uhn Tiss Uhn Tiss”.
