Blind Yeo
Blind Yeo is a psychedelic experimental collective from Falmouth, led by British musician Will Greenham. The project forms during lockdown and comes into its own in 2022 through an artist residency at the Cornish Bank, a community cultural space in Falmouth that becomes a focal point for the local underground scene.
The group has a deliberately changeable line-up, with musicians rotating around Greenham. Named members include Henry Greenham, Sam Pert, Anoushka Helm, Jake Sheridan, Phil Self, Phyllida Bluemel and Dan Gilbert. The collective format is central to the project’s identity, with the music described as continually evolving.
Style and sound
Blind Yeo’s music blends psych rock, krautrock, experimental folk, ambient and art rock. Its arrangements use dense textures, open structures and frequent improvisation. The group’s material moves between motorik rhythms, drifting synthesiser layers and noisy guitar passages.
Live activity
The band also appears at festivals, including Great Estate, Tropical Pressure and Christmas Humbug in Edinburgh. Its live performances are noted for their energetic, psychedelic character.
