Bleep

Bleep is the name used for more than one electronic act. It also refers to the pre-Biosphere project of Norwegian musician Geir Jenssen, after he leaves Bel Canto. In that form, Bleep releases one album in 1989, The North Pole By Submarine, on SSR. The music is instrumental, uses vocal samples, and is built from repetitive sequences with acid house influences.

The name is also used by an electronic group based in England, with main members Robyn Sellman and Igor Olejar. That group changes its name to Woomera in October 2006, and is linked with Autorotation.

A further act called Bleep is a beat maker from Istanbul, Turkey, who moves to Vienna in 2007 and continues as Kolonel Bleep.
