Bleeding Knees Club

Bleeding Knees Club are an Australian garage pop and rock group from the Gold Coast, Queensland, formed in 2010. The core line-up consists of Alex Wall and Jordan Malane. Wall handles vocals and guitar, and Malane plays guitar and bass.

Wall and Malane meet in 2010 and quickly learn their instruments before releasing a five-track EP, Virginity, in the same year. In their early live performances, the pair appear as a two-piece, with Wall on drums and vocals and Malane on guitar.

Line-up changes and live work

By late 2011, the group adds drummer Brett Janschand, which allows Wall to move to guitar and vocals and Malane to bass. The band tours with The Vines, Step-Panther, Dune Rats and DZ Deathrays.

Bleeding Knees Club are also known for loose, chaotic and energetic shows, with performances often involving stage invasions, crowdsurfing and stage dives.

Recordings

Their debut album, Nothing to Do, is released in 2012. In 2013, Wall issues a solo album under the name Wax Witches, titled Celebrity Beatings.
