Bleeding Heart Narrative
Bleeding Heart Narrative is a United Kingdom group active until 2012. It is a six-piece band led by songwriter Oliver Barrett. The line-up includes Oliver Barrett, Clarissa Carlyon, Ben Gaymer, Matt Mills, Bribget Samwel and Simon Trevethick.
Releases
The band’s debut album, all that was missing we never had in the world, appears in 2008 on Tartaruga Records. A limited edition version of the release sells out quickly. In 2009 the group issues the EP This Octopus Is Going to Eat Your Face as a free download on Distance Recordings, and also releases the collaborative eight-track EP Wire and String with Gosia Winter on Tartaruga. Later that year, the second album Tongue Tangled Hair appears and receives Album of the Week on Norman Records.
Later work
In 2010 the band releases the single “Perun”, followed in 2011 by the five-track EP Bison. Its final album, Caveats, appears in 2012 as a free download through Bandcamp.
