Bleached

Bleached is a Los Angeles-based group active from 2011. It is made up of sisters Jennifer Clavin, Jessica Clavin and Spencer Lere. The band works across indie rock, lo-fi, punk and punk rock, and is also described as a pop-rock and garage-influenced act.

Background

Jennifer and Jessie Clavin previously play in Mika Miko, another Los Angeles band. Bleached begins as a duo centred on the Clavin sisters before expanding to include Spencer Lere.

Recordings

The group releases three singles in 2011: No Friend of Mine, also known as Francis, Carter and Searching Through the Past. Its first full-length album, Ride Your Heart, follows in 2013. Later albums include Welcome the Worms in 2016 and Don’t You Think You’ve Had Enough? in 2019.
