Blaue Blume
Blaue Blume is a Danish indiepop group from Kolding, now based in Copenhagen. The band consists of Jonas on vocals, Søren on drums, Robert on guitar and Peter on bass.
The group takes its name from the German phrase “Blaue Blume”, meaning “Blue Flower”. The name comes from the Romantic period of the 1800s and from the German author Novalis. In this context, it is associated with longing, love, a desire for eternity, hope and the beauty of things.
Jonas cites Antony and the Johnsons and The Smiths as major influences on the band’s music.
