Blasta is a producer and DJ from Sankt-Peterburg, Russia. He starts making music as a teenager and first works in trance before moving into drum and bass, which becomes the style in which he finds most success as both a producer and performer. His first name is Vladimir.

He is associated with Russia’s drum and bass scene and also works with dubstep. In partnership with Dmitry Pavlov, known as 13pm, he is part of B-Pas Team. He also makes a dubstep mix lasting about an hour, which gains praise from dubstep listeners.
