Blasphemer
Blasphemer is a death metal group from Dewsbury, active since 1990. It is also associated with old school death metal and brutal death metal, with related tags including technical death metal and technical brutal death metal.
Releases and recording history
The band forms in 1998 and begins releasing material in the early 2000s. Its first release is the demo Life Kills, completed in 2002. A split with Humanity Fucked To Gore and Scrambled Defuncts follows in 2003 on Relics Records. In 2006, the group appears on a three-way split with Eskaton and Modus Delicti, issued by Frost Foundation. The first single, Cloaca of Iniquity, appears independently in 2008. Later that year, the band releases its first full-length album, On The Inexistence Of God, a 10-track record on Comatose Music.
