Blacklist Royals are a punk rock group from Nashville, United States, active since 2005. Their sound combines punk rock, folk punk, alternative rock and rock and roll, with a country-tinged, singalong style and a DIY approach.

Activity and performances

The band plays a large number of live shows and tours. Their appearances include the full 2006 and 2007 Vans Warped Tour, The Fest 6 and The Fest 7, and the 2008 Heavy Rebel Weekender. They also tour with Pennywise, Circle Jerks and The Queers.

Recordings and recognition

Blacklist Royals sign to Paper And Plastick Records. Their album Semper Liberi is recorded and produced by Matt Drastic. The band receives attention from Maximum Rock And Roll and Razorcake, as well as coverage from the Los Angeles Times, Fuse TV and Nashville rock radio. The station names them “Top Underground Act” in its 2009 annual awards.
