Black Tongue

Black Tongue is used by several musical acts, including a metal group from Hull, England, formed in January 2013. This band includes members from other extreme metal groups, including Infant Annihilator and Mister Sister Fister. Its lineup is Alex Teyen on vocals, Eddie Pickard on guitar and vocals, Aaron Kitcher on drums, and James Harrison on guitar.

The Hull band combines deathcore with sludge metal and doom metal, and its style is often described as downtempo deathcore. Its debut EP, Falsifier, gains positive reviews from independent outlets and draws attention from fans and industry representatives after its release.

The name Black Tongue is also used by a rock band based in Copenhagen, Denmark. That group includes Cristian Olesen on guitars and vocals, Rune Nielsen on bass guitar, Snakebite on drums, and Jonas Skovsbøl on guitars. It records a self-titled EP in May 2009 containing four tracks and is unsigned at the time of release. An American act also uses the name, although little widely documented detail is available about it.
