Black Coast

Black Coast is a name used by more than one act. One is a nu-metalcore band from Stoke-on-Trent, England, formed in January 2016. The group features Charlie Hewitt on vocals, Scott Pinnington and Joe Mayer on guitars, Jack Beardsall on bass and Matty Clark on drums. The band releases one album, Outworld in 2021, and three EPs. Their stated influences include Deftones, Alice in Chains, Linkin Park and Ocean Grove, among others.

The name is also used by Stan Rapoport, a musician from The Bronx, New York, also known as Coast LoCastro and East Coast. Under this alias, he is associated with hip hop, and his best-known track is “TRNDSTTR”, credited with M. Maggie; its Lucian remix reaches a large audience through word of mouth.
