Bjørn Torske is a Norwegian house producer and DJ from Tromsø and Bergen, born in 1971. He is associated with electronic music, house and nu disco, and he is originally from Tromsdalen, Norway.

Early releases and aliases

Torske’s first release appears on the T.O.S. EP compilation, where he records under the name Alegria and also works with Ole Johan Mjøs as Radikal Buzz. He later uses the Krisp name for more techno-oriented material.

Ismistik and collaborations

Torske and Mjøs form Ismistik, and the project releases three EPs on Djax. He also works with Rune Lindbæk in Open Skies and Volcano. After moving to Bergen, he continues Ismistik as a solo project without Mjøs.

Solo work

Under the Ismistik name, Torske records the album Remain, which is released in 1995 and is described as a classic in his catalogue. After that, Ismistik seems to stop, and he records mainly under his own name.
