Biuret

Biuret is a South Korean rock group active since 2002. The band is led by Hye Won Moon, who sings, plays guitar and writes songs, and is joined by Jai Hyun Ahn on bass guitar and Gyo Won Lee on lead guitar. It is a three-member act with a rock-pop sound that combines rock with pop elements.

Career

Biuret releases its first EP in 2005, and the first pressing sells out within months. The group builds a live reputation through more than 600 performances across clubs, college festivals, television appearances, musical theatre productions and rock festivals, and it also opens for the British rock group Oasis.

The band wins the Sutasi 2009 overall title, a Pan-Asian music search for contemporary acts across Asia. After that, Biuret performs in Korea, Australia, Japan, London, Vietnam and India, including an appearance at Independence Rock 2010.

Later work

Biuret later returns with a mini-album titled Goodbye, recorded with guitarist and music producer Kim Sung Soo. The group continues to work on new material and performances as an active rock band from South Korea.
