Bishops Green

Bishops Green is a street-punk group from Vancouver, Canada. Formed in 2011, it remains active and develops a following across North America and Europe.

Style and influences

The band plays melodic, hard-hitting street punk and draws on early 1980s punk rock and European Oi! scenes. Its influences include Blitz, Stiff Little Fingers, Cock Sparrer and Minor Threat.

Background

The group’s roots go back to the late 1990s, before it takes its current form in 2011. It builds a presence on the Western Canadian punk scene while also reaching listeners abroad.
