BIG|BRAVE
BIG|BRAVE are a Canadian experimental metal group from Montréal, active since 2012. The band consists of Liam Andrews, Mat Ball and Robin Wattie. Their music covers doomgaze, drone metal, metal, noise rock, post-metal and post-rock, and also draws on metal, drone and folk traditions.
The group begins as a minimalist folk act before moving towards heavier material built around guitar feedback and expansive arrangements. They sign to Southern Lord after that shift in sound. The name appears in more than one form, including Big Brave, Big|Brave and Big ‡ Brave.
