Big Fat Panda are a Ska band from the fair city of Edinburgh. The band was formed by a group of friends who had been playing in various bands on the Ska scene for a number of years until the guys decided they could have more fun playing together rather than apart, so pooling their individual talents and experience the Panda`s were born…Born to skank!
The band’s music is mainly inspired by Jamaican musical styles, such as Ska, Rock Steady & Reggae.
Full of fun, but at the same time serious song writers, Big Fat Panda are an exciting live act playing mostly original work and a few un-missable and immediately identifiable classics that not only the hardened Ska music fans will enjoy.
Big Fat Panda are often invited to play at major events such as festivals and Scooter Rallies throughout the UK and they play regular shows in their home town of Edinburgh
