Besh O Drom

Besh O Drom is a group from Budapest, Hungary, formed in 1999 and active since then. The band works across folk and jazz, and its music combines Hungarian folk elements with Balkan music.

Its sound also draws on a wide range of traditions beyond the Balkan region, including Jewish, Afghan, Albanian, Egyptian, Lebanese, Armenian, Bulgarian, Romanian and Greek tunes. The group uses both folk and electronic instrumentals in its arrangements.

The line-up includes Gergely Barcza, Farkas Róbert, Magyar Bori, Mónika Juhász Miczura and Zsoldos Tamás.
