Bernth is an Austrian guitarist and composer from Wien, born in 1991. He begins playing guitar at the age of 13, taking private lessons before enrolling in a local music school to start his career.

Career

After finishing school, Bernth tours with extreme metal bands including Belphegor, performing at concerts and festivals in the USA, Canada, South America and across Europe. After several years focused on metal, he studies jazz guitar and instrumental pedagogics at the Vienna Music Institute. He completes both courses with honours after four years.

In his final year at the Vienna Music Institute, he begins working with the Austrian band Seiler und Speer. The group has number one records in Austria, several top 10 hits and plays sold-out concerts, including Donauinselfest, where they perform before more than 111,000 people. Bernth also receives two gold awards for composing and performing the soundtrack to the series Horvathslos.

Work as a composer and online creator

Bernth writes and performs Through the Night, David Hasselhoff's metal debut song. He is also known for his music, performance videos and lessons on YouTube and Instagram, where he reaches a large audience of guitar enthusiasts each month.
