Benton

Benton is a dubstep producer from Epsom in the UK. He starts producing in 2007 and later also begins DJing. His music sits within dubstep, including dark dubstep, dungeon sound and deep dubstep.

Production and releases

His remix of Ray Keith’s Something Out There is played widely on dancefloors in 2010 and continues to receive support in the scene. Benton’s music also gets regular radio play on several major UK stations, including Rinse FM, Kiss and BBC Radio 1.

Support and performance style

His work is supported by DJs including N-Type, Skream, Benga, Youngsta, Walsh, Lost and Unitz. As a DJ, he plays exclusives from Wheel and Deal Brethren, other scene favourites and his own dubplates, and is associated with a very deep, dark style of dubstep.
