Ben Cook is an American singer and songwriter associated with the title “King of Soul”. He is born in Clarksdale, United States, in 1931 and dies in 1964. His work spans gospel, pop soul, R&B, soul, southern soul and traditional pop, and he is linked with SAR Records and Kags Music Corp.

Career

Cook is a member of The Soul Stirrers, The Highway Q.C.’s and The Pilgrim Travelers. He is known for writing and performing in the soul and gospel-related styles that define his recorded work.
