Belle Humble

Belle Humble is a London-based singer and songwriter. Born in London and raised in a commune in Vancouver, she grows up in an environment full of musical activity and begins singing and entertaining family and friends at an early age.

Background and writing

She studies the arts at university and gains a degree in literature. Alongside writing her own material, she performs live in both the UK and Canada. Her work is described as drawing on a positive and experimental approach, with an emphasis on songs that contain life and emotion.

Projects and recognition

Humble is involved in Amazing Tunes Sound 2008 and the International Songwriting Competition, where she is a finalist in both. Her single Got Me Trying is licensed to the BBC drama Falcon Beach.

Live activity and London work

In London, she founds and hosts Une Belle Nuit, an evening of music performance and poetry that takes place at venues around north London. The event attracts acts interested in taking part.
